Adventures of the Heart and Feminine Hearts Alive

  

 

Adventures of the Heart is about helping men learn to live from their hearts so they can live from their God given desires and passions, discover the unique call of Christ on their lives, and engage in God’s great battle of reaching people with the message of grace and forgiveness found in Jesus Christ.

This mission is vital because men in our culture, including Christian men, have distanced themselves from their hearts and lost touch with their souls, their passions, their call from God, and the incredible adventure God offers. As a result, men often find themselves living out of duty, "have-to’s" and "ought and shoulds" which leads to them feeling bored, tired, and burned out on church and the spiritual dimension of their lives. Learning to live from the heart involves men understanding their true identities in Jesus Christ, receiving God’s lavish love for them in Christ, and embracing their God-given longing for real adventure in their lives. It’s about discovering that life is a journey and a battle and that God invites men to ally with Him in His larger adventure of setting people free in His son Jesus Christ.

As a man learns to live from his heart then he begins to live as God intended. They want to help men answer this question: "Don’t ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive, and go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive."  They believe that Jesus Christ came with that very purpose in view—to heal our hearts and set us free. (Luke 4:15-21)

Alongside Adventures of the Heart is the ministry Feminine Hearts Alive.  It is their desire to bring to every woman the message of how God sees here for her heart so that she can experience knowing Him in a real way.  When a woman is in touch with her heart, she is able to become the woman God made her to be and experience the life she was made for - her real life.

This is the life God intended for every woman, and yet where can she find it in the midst of all of the demands on her, the voices of so many and their expectations, and the sheer pace of life?  It can be confusing and even frustrating to become that woman who is full alive and who experiences the real life that God offers.  All too often, this leads to becoming disconnected from her heart and God, eventually losing heart altogether.

They understand that dilemma and that is why they have created the Encounter as a time and a place where you can pull away, let down, and give attention to that most important thing about you - your heart.

God, through this ministry, has restored me - my passion, my character, my freedom, my relationship with my Wife, my inner thoughts, etc. I so much appriciate the authenticity of the Men that make up this group. Here in the South, there are a lot of "religious" group. This is NOT one of those groups. The message I received from God on that Mountain in Colorado was simple... "Matt, I love you". The real work of the gospel is the heartbeat of this ministry...restoration, wholeness and holiness...I know because it is happening to me. Through this ministry God rescued me and is restoring me to live moment-by-moment as his son. I still have so much more ground to recover, but learning to live from a full heart as the beloved son of God is changing everything for me, my marriage, and everything surrounding me. Experiencing real freedom to live as God's beloved son is so much better than I could have imagined and the great thing is so much more is available.
